MoU with Delphi-TVS

As part of Skill Building at the grassroots level, Delphi-TVS has partnered with Murugappa Polytechnic College to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at the MPC campus, for which an MoU was signed. The MoU was signed by Dr. K. Sudhagar, Principal, Murugappa Polytechnic College and Mr. K. Balaji, Vice President – People & Culture, Delphi-TVS.

The centre aims to provide immersive & experiential learning for students in high-tech precision engineering products and systems, enabling them to acquire industry-relevant skills & be ready for their careers. The centre will open up numerous opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and learning in the years to come. Additionally, students will receive hands-on training on advanced technology at the manufacturing plants of Delphi-TVS.

This MoU allows students to enrol in Advanced FIE as an elective subject. This MoU also provides for Faculty development programs, internship opportunities and campus placements.

Academic Year 2023 - 24

On behalf of Murugappa Polytechnic College, Department of Electronics (Robotics) is Signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vaiibhav Tech Services , Chennai-600098 on 31.05.2024 at Board Room of MPC at 10.20 A.M . Mrs. Sumathi, Managing Partner along with Mr. E. Balaji, CEO are from vaiibhav Tech services side. Principal, Administrative Officer, Placement Officer, HOD/ER are from college side during MoU Signing.

Department of Electronics (Robotics of Murugappa Polytechnic College Signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aaron Instruments, Chennai-600089 on 28.6.2023 in the Venue of Principal's chamber at 3.45 P.M. The Resource person is Mr.G.Rajesh, Director of Aaron Instruments. Administrative officer, Placement officer, Electronics Robotics HOD and III Coordinator also participated in the MoU Signing.

A Memorandum of Understanding is made between Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai – 600 036 and Murugappa Polytechnic College, Chennai – 600 062 on 21.08.2023 to provide training to Murugappa Polytechnic College students in “Advanced Electronics Manufacturing” at Central Electronics Centre, IITM, Chennai. The MOU was signed by Prof. Prathap Haridoss Dean, Academic Courses, IITM and Dr.K.Sudhagar, Principal, Murugappa Polytechnic College, Chennai.

The MoU was witnessed by Prof. Anbarasu Manivannan , Head, Central Electronics Centre and Mr.M.Suresh HOD, Electrical, Murugappa Polytechnic College, Chennai – 600 062

The first phase of Training is tentatively scheduled from November 2023. 15 students from the departments of EEE, ECE, Mechanical and Electronics Robotics have been shortlisted for training.
