Objectives

To ensure the prevention of sexual harassment against our girl students and women staff.
To display the penal consequences of sexual harassment in our college.
To organize awareness programmes and workshops to uplift our girl students and women staff.
To respond to the complaints and redress the grievances of our students and staff in connection with sexual harassment.
To enquire and investigate the cases, if any, of sexual harassment.
To take action based on the decision of the committee and the approval of the principal.

Kaaval uthavi app has been downloaded by our college girl students on 24.11.25 .The resource person is Mrs.A.Bhagavathi,Head Constable WHC 12682 IUCAW UNIT,AVADI COMMISSIONERATE,AVADI and Mrs.Rajeswari WPC,15695 under prevention of sexual harassment POSH / MPC.

Awareness programme for the Employees at the workplace regarding Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal under Prevention of Sexual Harassment of MPC was conducted on 19.09.2024. The speaker of the programme was Ms. Indumathi Ravi, Advocate, Chennai.

Awareness programme in POSH

An awareness programme for the employees at workplace regarding prevention, prohibition and Redressal under Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell was conducted on 18.11.2022 Friday, Mrs.T.Latha Inspector of Police W29 All Women Police Station Avadi delivered a vibrant speech regarding POSH.

An awareness programme on Emotional Wellbeing by POSH

An awareness programme on Emotional Wellbeing was conducted by experts of SNEHA a suicide prevention organization for all the First year students under Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell ( POSCO ACT) on 12.10.2022.
